There are three ways to participate

Our Annual Projects

Projects Organized by BBL

Arrive at BL Park and Ride at 8:30am
Sign insurance waiver form
Receive Project Assignment, refreshments and T-shirt
Have a wonderful morning of service and return for lunch

Organize Your Own Project

Public Project

Projects on Public Property Examples:

Schools
Public buildings
Rights-of-way
Parks
Green Space
etc.

Criteria:

Project must add visual appeal that lasts longer than one year
Must keep volunteers safe and occupied with meaningful work
Scope of work must be completed in 3-hour target window on 3rd Saturday of Sept.
Funds and in-kind donations can be provided by BBL
Submit idea to Beautify Bonney Lake for inclusion on project list

Organize Your Own Project

Private Project

Projects on Private Property Examples:

Senior Citizens homes
Disabled persons
HOAs
Businesses
etc.

Criteria:

Project must add visual appeal that is not temporary (ie lasts longer than one year)
Must keep volunteers safe and occupied with meaningful work
Scope of work must be completed in 3-hour target window on 3rd Saturday of Sept.
Funds and in-kind donations must come from other sources (not from BBL)
If resources are required, those must be supplied by the organizing entity, or another organization/charity (ie: Paint Tacoma/Pierce, Mobility for Seniors etc)
Submit project idea for inclusion for statistics and to ensure liability guidelines are adhered to
Must provide separate waiver form for work conducted on private property.

All volunteers will check in at the Bonney Lake Park and Ride for T-shirts and refreshments

All volunteers must and will be kept safe throughout the event

BBL is a registered 501 (c) 3 with a specific mission and bylaws. In order to preserve its charter as a charity, BBL cannot provide funds that benefit specific individuals. BBL encourages any activity that improves the visual appeal of the city of Bonney Lake which includes improvement to homes and property where the owner is unable to do so as a result of age or disability. If resources or materials are needed for any improvements, they must be provided by another organization or charity whose mission is to offer such support.
